The Wellnuts walnuts are produced in our up-to-standard semi-mountainous walnut field, in the town of Amfikleia of Phtiotis, at an altitude of 300m, at the northeast foot of mt. Parnassus.

The people who envisioned the orchard decided, in 2001, to quit the urban way of life and moved from the bustling city of Athens to quiet, traditional Amfikleia, aiming to lead a serene, natural life, one attuned to the natural landscape that the mountainous land so graciously offered.

The walnut is a miracle of nature, a perennial, blessed tree, the entirety of whose parts can be used invariably. It’s no wonder, then, that walnuts were associated with Zeus, while also being one of the first nut trees grown by man.
